Data Deletion Instructions

Applies to all Vine AI assistants, including Facebook Messenger conversations

You can request deletion of your conversation data and any personal information you shared with a Vine AI assistant at any time. Two ways to do it:

Option 1: Message us

Send the message "delete my data" in the same conversation (on Facebook Messenger or on the website chat) where you talked to the assistant. This lets us find your conversation without you sharing anything else.

Option 2: Email us

Email [email protected] with the subject "Data deletion request". Tell us:

  1. Which business or Facebook page you messaged
  2. The approximate date of the conversation
  3. The name shown on your profile, so we can locate the conversation

What happens next

  1. We confirm receipt of your request within 3 business days.
  2. We delete your conversation history, messaging platform identifiers (such as your Messenger PSID), and any contact details you shared, from our systems and backups in the normal backup cycle.
  3. We confirm completion within 30 days of your request.

Note: if the business you contacted copied your details into their own systems (for example, their CRM) to follow up with you, contact that business directly for deletion from their records. Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect and how it is used.
